Things That Will And Might Happen in Percy 5!

From Various Sorces:

Secrets
What's for sure known is that:

-We will meet Luke's mother in this book
-We meet the goddess, Hestia.
-The first draft is already done, revisions are being made.
-Rick Riordan stated that he does not believe in killing the main character, so there is a strong suspicion that Percy Jackson will not die.

Theories on what might happen in The Last Olympian:

-Nico will tell Percy his plan to stop Kronos, which may involve dispossessing Luke.

-Thalia will make a reappearance.

-Annabeth may get captured again, causing another rescue mission revolving around her.

-Percy might meet the immortal Pegasus.

-The final battle over Western Civilization will begin.

-Charles Beckendorf and Silena Beauregard will have bigger roles as they might take part in the final battle.

-The story might take place in late July and early August since that's around the time Percy turns sixteen and therefore has to make a decision as to who will rule and who will be sent to Tartarus.

-Hades will be back.

-Nico's origins will be explained.

-Demeter will make an appearance since all the gods/goddesses have now been introduced except her, possibly with daughter Persephone.

-There will be another quest.

-Percy's prophecy will be told.

-Thalia might not be a Hunter by the end of the story either to death or confession of love to Luke.

-There might be an epilogue about what happened to the half-bloods who survive.

-Some Greek figure or monster, such as Typhon will be apart of the story.

-Annabeth's dad and family make reappear again.

-Athena will possibly help guide Percy.

-Aphrodite will be back again, possibly to lend a hand in finally getting Percy and Annabeth together.

-Juniper will make a reappearance.

-Rachel Elizabeth Dare will show up again since she was a big help in The Battle of the Labyrinth.

-Clarisse will be back.

-Luke's mother may know something that might help stop Kronos.

-Percy and friends will make another trip to the Underworld and Olympus.

-The Hunters will return.

-Percy will have to do the last two labours of Hercules.

-The cryptic messages that Pan gave to Percy, Annabeth, Grover, Rachel, and Tyson will be given full meaning.

-The number 3 will be some sort of sign. There were three quests, three sons and daughters of Kronos, and now there are only three powerful half-blood children still alive, surprisingly each is a child of the Big Three (Percy with Poseidon, Thalia with Zeus, and Nico with Hades, since Bianca died).

-More Titans will make appearances.

-Atlas might return.

-Hestia might appear - the goddess who gave up her Olympian seat to Dionysus (Mr. D.) and left behind the hearth in the throne room.

-Another friend of Percy's might die.

-Sally Jackson and Paul Blofis might get married, and the wedding is attacked by monsters.

-Mrs. O'Leary might be seen again.

-Briares the Hundred-Handed One will be back to help in the Titan/Olympian War.

-Annabeth might be given more powers, since Percy and Grover received new ones in the Battle of the Labyrinth.

-Zoe Nightshade might play some role, possibly in one of Percy's dreams or a guide now that she's a constellation.

-Nereus, the sea god who knows all, could be back to give Percy new information.

-Percy and friends will possibly visit the Land of the Amazons.

-Percy, Thalia or Nico will die.

-The sand dollar that Percy got for his 15th birthday will somehow come in handy in the Titans vs. Gods war.

-Percy defeats Kronos and is offered immortality as a reward.

-We will see Gaia fight for the Titans [as in on the Titan's side in the war].

-Percy may be forced to sacrifice his old pal from book three, Bessie the cow serpent, the Ophiotaurus. If whoever sacrifices him gets the power to overthrow the gods, then it could give him the power to take down Kronos.

-Clarisse will die in battle in order to save Percy, because she realises the importance of his life. Then before she is dead her dad may change her spirit into an everlasting fire or something.

-Ares will reverse the curse on Percy's sword: "It will fail when you need it most". He will do this because Percy will need his sword to defeat Kronos, and if his sword will fail, Ares will fall.

-I think that Annabeth and Percy will hook up.

-Some campers will go on a quest to find Nike, the goddess of victory.

-Percy will finally confess to Annabeth how he loves her or the other way around.

-Percy Jackson will die saving his freinds and the world in the act.

-A new half-blood will come to Camp Half-Blood and become Percy's love interest.

-Clarisse will marry Chris if she survives.

-Kronos will be about to kill Percy, then Chiron will sacrifice himself to save Percy's life.

-When Thalia comes back she will confess to liking Percy and Luke.

-When Hestia makes her appearance, there may be some conversation involving or a confrontation with Hera.

-Since Hestia is the goddess of domesticity and family and households, and Hera made her "perfect
family" statement in the Battle of the Labyrinth, the two sisters may have some rivalry going on.

-Hestia will protect Annabeth from her younger sister Hera.

-Luke's mom, Ms. Castellan, is either a postal worker, thief, traveling business woman, or a spy,
seeing that she was involved with Hermes, god of messengers, thieves, and travellers.

-Rachel will be in the book and she will kiss Percy but he will say that he doesn't have the same
feels for her.

-Percy will lose control and turn into some terrible monster.

-One of Percy's closest friends will die.

-Aphrodite will fake Annabeth's [what?] to make Percy life more 'tragic'.

-Percy and Annabeth will kiss.

-Annabeth will ignore Percy because her mom said so.

-Thaila will make an appearance.

-Babycakes (from Sea of Monsters) will make an appearance.

-We will see another mythical creature like a griffin.

-Percy will defeat Kronos and rob him of his powers.

-Argus's background will be revealed. In Greek mythology, Argus was a giant with a hundred eyes that guarded one of Zeus's mortal lovers.

-Luke will some how overcome Kronos and commit suicide killing both of them for the gods, also
leaving Annabeth wide open.

-Grover will replace Pan as the wild god.

-There will be a black cat in Book 5.

-Maybe all the gods will pressure him [who? Luke?], so that he feels uncomfortable, so it is
definite that he will support the Greek gods (not the Titan's) then maybe all the gods, even the
ones who used to hate him, will love him [or is this on about Percy?].

-Percy breaks Annabeth's heart (he likes Thalia because of the "wild god" part of him), Annabeth dies, he goes on a quest to the Underworld, and Annabeth has to decide whether she wants to go with Percy (to the living world and risk getting hurt by him again) or stay dead.

-Chiron fades in battle.

-Hera ruins Paul and Sally's wedding.

-Annabeth has to chose between Luke or Percy.

-Percy or Annabeth will get a golden apple from the garden of Hesperides and decide whether they want to become immortal or not.

-The son of Nemesis (I forget his name) will withdraw his vow to serve Kronos.

Back From Book Hibernation!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've had a lot of school projects lately, and have been reading away. While I haven't posted, I've finished Time Paradox, KK2, and Inkdeath. I working on starting the Pendragon series by D.J. MacHale. I heard it's a pretty good read, with the latest book releasing on May 20th.

Yes, I heard that Obama won the election. I find it appalling that the republicans have the nerve to release promos saying that Obama is untested. Even if McCain won, he has never been president of anything before either, so you can say that McCain is untested too. Really, I'm glad that Obama won, because I think it's time for a change. One teacher I saw posted a sign that says: "Tired Of The Same? Vote Democrat!"

A good movie release too check out would be Twilight, which releases November 21st. It is strongly recommended for PG-13 viewers. It's the movie that came out of the Twilight Saga, by Stephenie Meyer. A book I may have been taking about, Breaking Dawn, is the fouth and final book in the saga.

Have a safe week, and happy reading!
