Post From 1/23/11:

My blog has a new look... again.

This blog isn't all about books anymore. They still will be the primary focus of the blog, but more frequently will the posts will be centered around other activities & current issues. Same with my Twitter.

Take Care, everyone.

Big Changes

I just wanted to let you know that Books will be undergoing severe remodeling in the next few weeks. The reason my computer is having problems is because I have a little too much saved(by the way, that's got nothing with this website.)on my computer. It's seemed to me we had alot of vistors, but they just don't post alot. So I'm going to start making this posts a little more interesting, so people do post more often. Alot of the sidebar feartures will go away. Sorry, there is just a litte too much on there. No posts will be deleted. If you haven't noticed, Books has a new look. This is the template I'm into right now. Most of my blogs will get this same look, only in different colors.

For those interested in my progress with the Alex Rider series, I'm now on Book 4: Eagle Strike(red book)

Happy Reading- Jake

Alex Rider And Some New Releases!

I apologize for going completely blog-less for the entire month of December. I'm still quite young, and was studying for Final Exams, and those are very tiring. I haven't had any public transportation around lately, and my computer has been having a variety of problems. My birthday's in April this year, so maybe someone will buy me a laptop with Wi-Fi or something.

I've been deeply engrossed in the Alex Rider series by British author Anthony Horowitz. I would deeply recommend this one for Seventh Grade and up, because this is kinda a spy novel, and has alot(and I mean ALOT) of guns and violence in it. It's still a fantastic read however, if you're into James Bond. I'm on the third book, Skeleton Key(it's the green book in the picture). There are now seven books, not five, like in the picture. If you are one of the little guys, and are a fan of Jeff Kinney, the latest Wimpy Kid book, The Last Straw, hit shelves today.
